just wondering,is anybody actually going to Santa Cruz?
since I have been waiting so long for the others, Santa Cruz is actualy becoming my option to transfer.

admitted today! first admission of the five schools i applied to. feels good to be finally admitted somewhere.

@ray50117, sc was definitely not anywhere near the top of my list, but i may end up going there after all. for my major at least (environmental studies), they have a great program.

Just checked and I got in
It just feels good to FINALLY hear a reply from a UC.

YES!!! So good to hear back from UCSC, just got accepted, I was really worried I wouldn’t be accepted. My #1 Choice feels so good, was afraid I was gonna have to go to UCR (although it isn’t a bad school either)

Just checked right now and Im admitted. Finally, took their sweet ass time.

major: physics
tag
GPA: 3.89

I can believe I got into UCLA before UCSC.

Accepted but I already submitted my SIR to Davis.

just a quick question though… I have asked this so many times, but never get any real input.

Major: Biochemistry
GPA: 2.94
IGETC: Done in spring
Major Prereqs: (1 yr bio, 1 yr calc, 1 yr of gen chem, and 1 semester of O chem)
Units: 65, 80 after spring

I had 20 units this semester and I dropped my 2nd semester organic chemistry course, how will this affect my admissions??? (Will I get rescinded?) I could take a UCLA extension course over the summer for Organic Chemistry 2 or beg my teacher to be reinstated (unlikely). I will be getting A’s for the rest of my courses though… UCSC is my #1 school and I really don’t want to lose my admission there
