I was wondering how the TAG works exactly. If the UC a person applies TAG for requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher, can that person still be accepted through the TAG agreement if he or she has less than a 3.0 during Fall enrollment but has a chance to raise their GPA so they fulfill the requirement by the end of the Spring term?

no. TAG requires that your gpa be above the minimum required gpa, i.e. 3.0 when you apply at fall. also, you need to keep the gpa above the minimum required gpa during the spring prior to transfer.

From what I understand from the new tag. as long as you have the required gpa by fall you will be accepted. Keep in mind that most schools gpa are higher now and also the gpa is higher for some majors. To make it short, if you do not have the 3.0 by fall, then your TAG will not be accepted!

Thank you for the responses.
