UC to UC transfers?

<p>Just looking to see if anyone had any experience with transfering from a UC to UC Campus.</p>

<p>Specifically, UCR to UCSD, or UCLA</p>

<p>Background:
I just started at UCR this fall, but I'm looking at possible options in the future, possibly to transfer out my Junior year. Mainly for the reason that I've lived here all my life (Moreno Valley), am commuting from home, and just would like the chance to live on my own in a new area. I ended up getting accepted at UCSD in the first place, which I strongly considered, but I ended up choosing UCR. I am currently a Mech. Engineering major.</p>

<p>If you have a solid gpa thru your sophomore year at UCR and did well in your core math/science/engineering classes, then yes it is possible.</p>
