I know that UC Davis' is on May 11, and requires prior registration. UCSB's is on Friday May 11 as well at 9am and 1pm for the next 3 fridadys, and I think that UCSD's is on May 12.

When is San Diegos? and Irvine’s?

Pretty sure UC Irvine is May 4

Sent from my HTC Evo 3D using CC

UCSD’s is May 12. UCLA also hosts a series of overnight transfer events on May 11 and has a half day transfer scholar’s program for disadvantaged applicants on May 12.

It’s kind of hard to believe that the scheduling was coincidental. The fact that the majority of the transfer events seem to fall on that May 11-13th weekend makes it very difficult to try and attend more than one of them if you’re still deciding between multiple schools. Because I’m very much undecided between UCLA and UCSD, I’ll be driving 2 hours down from Westwood to La Jolla right after UCLA’s overnight event to go to UCSD’s transfer admit day. I’m not looking forward to the drive… or the morning traffic. I just hope I make it down in time to get a decent look around UCSD.

^ Pick UCSD :D

I’m not biased…

Wait what is this admit day thingy, is it required for you to attend?

@jdom24 Haha! Of course you’re completely impartial. It’s not like you’re enrolling at UCSD or anything. :P

@fredfrep Transfer admit days aren’t mandatory. They’re just opportunities to go check out the schools firsthand, see the facilities, interact with faculty and staff and generally just inform you or answer any questions you have before you have to SIR.

@fredfrep Yeah what he said. Transfer days are optional, and they are day events that will guide you through campus, academics, housing etc. for students who were accepted to their college so that you can get a better understanding of the college and to help you decide whether or not you want to SIR to their university.

When is CAL’s transfer day?
