I know what you mean... it's very difficult. For me, it's like waiting to see what turn my life is going to take next. Where I'm going to move to. It's really a big deal. It's terrible to wait...

Any cosci/engineering majors that have heard anything? I am tired of waiting for UCSD, UCLA, and UCB to send something.

blah this blows, i haven't heard from UCI or UCSD yet. everyone else is waitin for UCLA and UCB and i'm like two steps behind everyone in this krazy disorder. well, on another note, kudos for all who've gotten into the schools they've been waiting on!

mrpinaple whats your major/stats?

Econ IGETC Certified, Preps completed for SD, LA, B. 62 Units. Economics. 4.0 GPA

dont worry mrpinaple. Im also behind...
i havent heard from DAVIS!

you know what i think they do? i think schools like ucsd and ucd are going to accept you, just not yet. i think they know that your gpa and qualifications are so high that the likelihood of you getting accepted to and attending schools like ucb and ucla are high. so... they accept people they think are more likely to go to their school, and then accept those that they think won't. that way, enrollment doesn't dwindle because people either didn't get accepted or they went somewhere else. i'm pretty sure you'll be accepted with a 4.0 to any school... and they know that too. i think that they're just trying to predict numbers right now.

that's just my theory, looking at it now. what do you guys think?

its interesting, but i would hate to speculate anything about admission decisions in the ucs or any university for that matter. They have a million policies and regulations of doing things. Who knows what their system of notification is.

i really do hope you get into davis ely. someone with that much passion about their destination deserves it. the admissions process is so shakey and the system is so mysterious, we'll never how it works. however, i never really thought about the u way u have angel, it does make sense logically. But you never know. its just discomforting to know that they've replied and, still, i'm here with an empty basket. However, hopefully you're right an get accepted to UCB which will make me a very satisfied camper.

so angel, if you don't mind my asking, why r u transfering out of Irvine

wuts ur major? premed?

Got accepted to UCR but i can't wait for UCLA....:( i am sure it's going to be a long wait

UCLA decisions are on April 27th for ~50% of people

silverOOv6, where did you hear this about UCLA? It would be so great to hear early!

unggio: my major is elec engr...but I didn't apply yet..its still my first year I am applying this fall.

Actually guys I heard that decisions could begin as earily as Saturday afternoon.

ok...any of these sources actually credable? anyone call the admission's office or something like that? or is juss an "i heard" type thing. DONT TEMPTED US LIK THAT!! >_<

o nm silver, didnt read ur other thread. thank you again
