UC Transfer Applicants - Come Join

It does appear that UCSB has pushed it back another week on us, since it was the saying the 15th up until a few hours ago.

I would not worry too much about UCD or UCI, since I think most of us (has anybody heard from UCI) are still waiting.

I have heard from UCI

That's right, I forgot that you got in. I think you're alone (around here at least) however in that still, since you're the only one I've heard announce it.

Patience is not exactly my strongest suit... they had better make sure that the wait is worth it (meaning that since they're making me wait this long, they better let me in). ;)

So anyway - so far, these are the decisions we have (off the top of my head).

UCD: only applicants with TAA have heard from them
UCI: only cc_gwc has heard from them
UCR: I know some applicants have already heard from them
UCSC: same as UCR

I think this is it.

i hope the wait is not due to any dificulty UC of finding space for students.

I thought I had a TAA with UCD. Not totally sure, but thought I signed up for it.

allena - you have a TAA with Davis but still don't have your decision posted? hmmm... maybe it has something to do with your major too. WHat is your major?

I'm not nervous anymore; my impatience has eclipsed any nerves I had last night. :P

Yeah. I thought I signed a TAA with them too, however my counselor did tell me that the major I applied for, managerial economics is very impacted at UC Davis so therefore the TAA wasn't necessarily guaranteed. :(

Ok, I'm glad that other people noticed the change from the 15th to the 22nd for SB. I thought I was seeing things or not paying attention or something. blah. I so don't need to wait for another week.

If I did get one then I know I did it at the end of last year. UCLA is the school I'm most concerned with, and know I've got TAP. Not sure about TAA but something tells me that I had signed up for that as well.

I'm a History major.

hey guys!

any updates? still nothing for me... although i'm not expecting my Cal and UCLA decisions for at least a month. I am a bit miffed by UCD though. Ugh.

ichiban...but isn't TAA guaranteed admissions..?? weird

thats weird, because thats the major I was admitted into...and I have TAA.

Yeah that's the impression I was under as well. Assuming it was guaranteed and all, shouldn't the davis admissions site have updated for me? Shoot... i don't know. but hey good news though, its 1:24 in the morning and I just checked uci's site. I got in!

I guess the cs&engineering major will be the latest one to be post for ucd and ucsd...
pending,pending,and still pending...

congrats ichiban!

what's your major?

congratulations, ichiban! Good for you.

Now if only Davis would just hurry up.

pending and waiting...

yidong you are right, we will probably be the last ones to hear...

Now I'm getting worried, as it looks like there have been a handful of people admitted to UCI, and I'm still pending.

Hey everyone, I remember in one of the forms (I think it is the transfer update forms) it was mentioned that the sooner you sumbit the stuff the faster you will get the notification. Hmm...do you guys remember seeing anything like this....

Let us do this ---

Everyone, esp those who got notified...post your submission date of:

ORIGINAL APPLICATION:
TRANSFER UPDATE:

If you forgot. You can log in to check your dates of submission
