o really didn't know that....

just found this:

As indicated on the Undergraduate Admissions Transfer Admission web page:

I guess history is a competetive major...but allena u have a great chance because of ur GPA and TAP

hey everyone..i got accepted to UCSD!!! for those that are curious...here's my stats:

GPA: 3.695
Major: Human Biology
IGETC certify
Major prep will be complete

congrats ccct

Mine.......all pending

cool...from now on whoevers accepted please post stats...

ccct, congrats !!!
Human Biology @ UCSD...thatz awesome. I am guessing that UCSD is your 1st choice (cuz of itz bio programs) ?

I wonder if those who clearly fit the admissions requirements get their results fastest?

I don't think so, since in that case I should have heard from UCR by this point.

Did UCR begin sending out decisions too?

I have not heard from UCSD despite I have a 4.0 and a lot of EC in biological science.

I say it probably have to do with when did you submit that update form (I first submitted it in january, but changed it many times, last change was made in march)

so yeah, just reject me. heh

also allena if your last name happened to have the letter A...
my last name starts with H so...

Blackdream - "I say it probably have to do with when did you submit that update form"

finally some1 agrees with me. I think I read this somewhere.

But for UCSC, im 100% sure cuz in their Engineering WIP separate form that I had to fill, they said earlier you send the WIP the faster your notification process is.

indie_boy my another international friend from last year applied to ucb for eecs with 3.91 still got rejected. but i believe cs is less competitive than eecs since being admitted to l&s department doesn't mean u r under cs major.
and most importantly you come from De Anza college!
for me i hv completed the cs61a and cs61b. however i can't find cs61c equiv course in my college so i am just taking the assembly language
btw i hv green card..

good luck man

indie_boy, Blackdream... are you guys just referring to UCSD and UCSC, or UCs in general? (about when WIPs were submitted)

ya, I guess I need a 4 to get into EECS (what I applied for)...anyways, im not counting on Berk at all...i hope at least UCLA, UCSD, and UCI accept me.

As for 61C, even though they don't list any assembly classes, but my friend told me that they usually accept any assembly class @ a CC. Good luck 2 u 2.

UC_hopeful, UCz in general.

yidong: could it be because ur friend was international student..??? and not california resident??

yea the one got rejected with 3.91 was international student from india.he just got a B in his engineering course~

I was trying to say that his rejection happened because he was an international and not resident of california....and residents get higher preference...or am I completeley wrong??

ccct, did u have physics done? congrats. I plan on applying there too, same major. If u would stop by the board again and inform us if u plan on attending and if they offer u housing. Cause thats an important thing for a lot of us.
