Hey guys! I will keep this as simple as possible. I was admitted as a freshman to UCSD, but not to UCLA. I really wanted to go to UCLA, but decided to go straight into a four year. I went to UCSD for a quarter and had some serious things going on at home to help my family. I saw it as an opportunity to pursue my dream school one more time. I will be applying to UCLA, UCB, UCI this fall. At UCSD, I maintained straight As and received a 3.76 GPA. As of right now, after one semester of community college (one quarter at UCSD and one semester at cc), I have a 3.9 GPA at community college due to one B I received in high school. I will be applying as Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology this fall and will be TAP certified and will have my IGETC completed. I will have finished all major prep besides the physics series. I would appreciate it if people offered me their opinions on my chances.
You can start with the Admissions Transfers by Major website to play around with the UCLA (or other UCs) admission rates by major, just to see if your GPA fits in.

@ProfessorPlum168 So my 3.9 GPA would put me in between the 25th and 75th percentile of admits and higher than the 50th percentile. What information could you extract from that range.
