UC Transfers

Im sorry for my harsh words, I am sometime TOO straight forward. I understand how you feel. I used to be in the similar situation when I could not afford for college, and people kept asking me what college I was going to. Even for now, when they know that i am going to a CC, they still have some attitudes. They dont say it out, but you would feel it. What I meant was, instead of proving your potentials now, why dont you save it for when you actually get in your dream school? If you choose reputation, you may be risking you chance to get in UCSD. If they ask, just tell them “I actually got in such and such, but I decided to go to a CC because such and such…”. I think some people even think that you are smart and mature enough to have critical thinkings and be able to sketch out your own educational plan. Though other people have addressed that a lot of people successfully transferred to the UC they wanted from a Calstate or another UC, I think with the same GPA, you have more chance to get in if you are a CCC student. Classes at 4 year school are packed with tons of people and probably harder to get an A compared to those at CC. However, whatever school you choose, try to perform your best, aim for As, tell yourself that a B is not okay. If you get a 3.9 gpa or above, you will be very competitive as a transfer.

@andrewjchang takes a big guy to apologize. No worries on my end.

@Ohm888 thank you for stopping me so I could take a minute to rethink what I have recently said to other people.
