Hello!
I had a question pertaining to the Unit Caps for the fall 2017 transfer students? I have really high units!
I recently applied to nearly all the UC schools as a sophomore transfer from UC Merced and I was wondering if the UCs still use the unit caps as a means to not admit students?
I have will have a rather high 79 semester units (118.5 semester units) by the end of a 12 unit 2017 spring semester. Is my admission jeopardized by the high unit count?
Unfortunately, most of the additional units came from college classes I took during high school summers prior to my freshman year of college. I had no way of knowing they would play a role in this transfer year and without them I would have a healthy 68-semester units at UC Merced (UCM gave me some credit for one transferable course). I have no breathing room until I start at the new UC!
Also just out of curiosity how many other UC-UC transfers are out there facing similar worries? Thanks!
