[UC] What are the chances..

So I have a little dilemma here and I thought I'd come to this website to look for some last minute help and opinions, maybe a little number crunch (of my chances).

My stats are 3.7 weighted GPA and 3.2 unweighted.
My SATI is 1920 with a 12 on essay.
770 on my Math IIC and 660 on my US History SATII.
AP tests are 3 in European History, 2 in US, 1 in Calc AB.
Currently I am enrolled in 4 APs. (Govt/econ, Stats, Calc BC, english)
My extra curriculars are pretty well off i have leadership positions in ASB for senior year and
other club involvement as well as 2 years of sports.

I got rejected from UCSB, UCDavis, and UCSD, and Cal Poly SLO so far. With last hopes on UCIrvine and Pepperdine. I got accepted to UCR & Cal Poly Pomona, for majors I like, not so much the college of my choice. However, I was thinking about appealing as I have extremely good connections with the administrators in my school, being possibly the Principal and Assistant Principals as well as the ASB Advisor. I could get them to help me with letters of Recommendations to the schools I have been rejected to, but the thing that is keeping a doubt in my head is that I tanked first semester of senior year due to family issues.
I got 2 Cs, an A, a B, and F in Calc BC.

Im hoping to make it up during summer at a community college that offers Calc, but is it too late by that time?

My choices right now are (in no particular order)
1)Cal Poly Pomona (Engineering)
2)UCR (Business)
3)Appeal letters to the rejected UCs.

I have no problem spending time getting the Appeal Letters, as I think if anyone has a chance, its me, I'm very borderline, I was hoping my SAT/extra curriculars can boost me, but guess not this time.

I just simply don't know how to explain myself for the F in BC besides the fact that there was marriage issues between my parents going on and that I will (if its worth it) make it up in the summer.

What should I do?

I'm actually surprised you didn't get into UCSB. Your 1920 and 3.7 seem well qualified. I think Cal Poly Pomona is awesome but if you want to get into one of the UCs you got rejected to, then I think an appeal letter might help a lot. Good luck!

Maybe, I always thought that UCs dont see senior grades until the final transcript is sent at the end of senior year.

I'm going to try to appeal, I'm still not sure how I would approach the F in Calc BC.
