Goodluck everyone! just submitted my interview!
How did you guys prepare for this interview? I am basing my info off of last years thread and the info on there. Hopefully the questions from last year are somewhat familiar.
Does anyone know someone who got admitted to Haas as a transfer student without an interview?
Did anyone else just received the HAAS interview yesterday?
I received one yesterday.
Please give us an idea of the six interview questions if you’ve already done it! I’m really worried
Ideally how many seconds would you spend on each question
Does anyone know if someone’s received an interview invitation and got denied?
I was reading through last years thread and it seems that everyone who got an interview was accepted.
I am definitely gunna be the first person who got an interview and got rejected lmao
Yes, some of my friends who were interviewed got rejected last year.
Is there anyone on the thread that didn’t get an interview? I didn’t get an interview
I didn’t get an interview either
Didn’t get one too :((
i wonder, since they batched the interview emails, if the order of batches–IE those who got emails on Friday vs. Monday–says anything about your admission likelihood. like, to do with scholarships or something. or it could be something trite like alphabeticals.
Are you confident? or sorta losing hope like I am… I haven’t seen someone who got admitted without interview around me nor on the previous Haas transfer threads… Do you mind if I aks your GPA and ECs and stuff?
I feel so depressed now… I really wanted to get into haas, but I feel like I have almost 0 chance of getting admitted… Do you mind if I ask your GPA ECs and stuff?
I have met people who got into Haas without an interview.
Here are my stats:
GPA 3.878
All prerequisites taken Calculus 2 will be completed by spring
Essays:7.5-8/10
If its any consolation I know students who know other transfer students who got in without interview. It seems like the interview process is pretty random from previous threads. I see students being rejected with 4.0 GPA’s and some students getting in with 3.8 GPA’s. I feel like interviews are given to those applicants on the fence of receiving admission and to students they want to know more about. The whole process is random (I believe). Don’t lose hope yet, you never know with haas. The haas program does have some wild card students so just stay positive!!! I hope that helps
