UCB or UCLA? Here's what I have to say.

lol i wasnt dissing education. i seriously didnt know what it is...

haha its okay westow. there's a saying that if you can't get a real job like lawyer, doctor, engineer, or businessman, then you can become a teacher. lol. okay now im just making fun of myself...

Using the US News and World Report as a standard of measurement (which is itself another controversy), here are the rankings of the graduate programs from the 2005 release.

Business School
Berkeley #6
UCLA #11

Both schools outranked NYU (#13), UVa (#14), Cornel and Yale (#15) to name a few.

Education
Berkeley #7
UCLA #2

Engineering
Berkeley #3
UCLA #15

Relevant rankings in relation to listed above: Cal Tech (#8), MIT (#1), UCSD (#11), and USC (#7).

Law
Berkeley #11
UCLA #15

Relevant rankings: Georgetown (#14), Cornell and Duke (tied with Berkeley), USC (#18), UMich-Ann Arbor and UVa (#8).

Medicine:
Berkeley N/A
UCLA #11

Relevant Rankings: UCSF (#5), Yale (tied) with UCLA), Cornell (#14), Harvard (#1), JHU (#2), and Stanford (#8).

These were the rankings of some of the graduate programs released by U.S. News and World Report for 2005.

ARGH. How on earth did I manage to go to such a good school?! The Gods must be mad!

Noticed that I refused to comment about the rankings (though my relevant rankings selection show some sort of bias).

Seriously, UCLA and Berkeley are institutions that provide a strong foundation for students looking forward to graduate school or entering the job market. You can't go wrong with either of them; you just need to focus.

i agree with eiffelguy87. i all honesty i think as long as u get good grades in UCLA or UCB, u cant go wrong with either one. try to focus on what U CAN CONTROL IN LIFE (thats grades and stuff) instead of what u cant (thats like ur salary, etc).

qwerasdf, just die please
