UCB vs Duke vs UCSD vs UIUC BME

kkk wow all this thinking is now making me totally go insane.
I think I need some help from you guys.
I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering and these are the lists that I have come up with. I plan on going to the medical school path (I kno I kno BME is hard with premed… but I really wanna take that challenge lol)
But I may not end up as a doctor because I just love BME itself!

So can you help me decide whats good for BME?
here are my concerns.

 1. I am a US Citizen but not a resident at CA so my first years will cost the same but after ~ 2 years, I will become a resident so my tuition will be reduced for UCB, UCSD,and UIUC

My background is Korean so everybody knows UCB and Duke(usually in Korea UCB is extreeeeeeeeeeeemly overrated) but they really don’t know UCSD

UCSD and DUke ranks the highest in Biomedical Engineering (Bioengineering, same thing)

Personally I think UCSD will be the best match for me (environment, people etc)

So concerning all these factors you really need to help me out! thanks!

I'd go with Duke for BME.

Go with the cheapest. All great options.

Duke has the best BME program I think, or at least it's quite high up there. plus, it's duke

hmm so Duke over UCSD or UCB? Rankings seem the same for UCSD and Duke concerning BME but anyway thanks guys!

From my view, since you are trying to go to med school, go to either Duke or UCB. Really, you are not trying to get an engineering PhD after graduation. Then juggle the cost the issue.
