graduate rankings aren't particularly relevant.

brown is the best school for undergrads among those choices, marginally more expensive than NU, and much more expensive than berkeley. if money is a big factor go to cal. otherwise, go to brown.

I think Berkeley gives you the most for the money. You also get a chance to get into Hass business undergrad program, one of the best undergrad biz programs in the country.

NU has the advantage of being very flexible about double-majoring/adding minor/certificates etc (I imagine Brown is similar). The quarter system and the typical 12 course-per-yr schedule at NU make double-majoring or even more a very reachable goal in four years. There are lots of business/finance related courses/options outside of econ dept at NU in case you are interested in business:
Kellogg School Certificate Program for Undergraduates - Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University
MMSS, Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences, Northwestern University
Northwestern University :: Undergraduate Leadership Program
Business Institutions Program, Northwestern University
Medill - IMC Undergraduate Certificate
Northwestern University - Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences/url

is that tuition they publish or the financial aid packages you got? because once you get a package those numbers will change. Brown doesn't cost $50k a year unless you are wealthy. If you're family is under 100k in income you'll have no loans.

I would go with Brown- but I really like the Northeast, and obviously the other two are great too

Berkeley. Else, its a tossup.
