I got into fall semester for UCSD, and I got into spring semester for UCB. Moreover, I got into Revelle College at UCSD (top percentage of students going on to med school).

I intend to major in something biology related and then move on to med school after my undergraduate. I know that UCSD has one of the top biology programs in the nation, but UCB has the name recognition. Which one is better for my situation?

UCSD because why wast a whole semester, then you would be really behind. UCSD is a well-known college for pre-med anyway. Less competitive for you there!!!!

If you would like to attend Berkeley, the university offers the Fall Program for Freshmen through UC Extension. If you are admitted into FPF, you can live in the dorms (not guaranteed, but everyone who applied for housing got it last year) and you take at least one class on the main campus. Your other classes are taken at the UC Extension center, near Unit 2. The professors who teach there are from the main campus as well.

Your GPA and classes from FPF fully transfer to your UC Berkeley transcript.

SD is uber competetive for bio majors. In fact it may be less competetive at Berk for bio classes since SD has a higher rated bio prgm. Plus, Berk's name will help you when u apply for med school
