I’m stuck on which school to choose and really could use some much needed help/advice.
I am pursing the pre-med route and my major choices are as follows:
UCD: Cell Biology
UCSB: Biochemistry
I want to know:
Which school would be best for a science-related major?
Which school has more research opportunities?
Honestly, how is the social scene at UCD? (I plan to join Greek life, for both SB and Davis).
I’m from San Diego and I feel most comfortable with the beachy/relaxed lifestyle, so I know SB is a better choice in that regard. I really love SB but my biggest concern is that I’ll get consumed by the party lifestyle and that it won’t offer me many research/volunteer opportunities that are needed for med school.
I need your help!
