I was just accepted to UCSD from the waitlist today, but I’ve already SIR’d to Davis. I was luckily able to get Microbiology for both Unis (I’ll be in Marshall for UCSD). I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight about UCSD. I didn’t go to Triton day because I had been put on the waitlist, but I have visited Davis. I’ve already researched quite a bit on each school, but I really do like them both! Any help will be appreciated (: Also I heard that it’s hard to get housing as a waitlisted-to-accpeted student? And that your place on the housing waitlist depends on when you were accepted from the admission waitlist?
Congratulations on your acceptance? What are you looking for from your undergraduate experience?
I agree with @groverrohan: What do you plan to do with your degree? Both schools will give an you excellent education and many research opportunities. Pick the school which fits you best.
