UCF question about suspensions

On the UCF application, does it ask if you got any disciplanary action of some sort? If so, what does it specifically ask?

I would also like to know if UF, FSU, FIU, USF, and UM ask these questions. I THINK I heard from others that colleges no longer ask but idk.

The reason I am asking is because I'm a hardworking student with amazing grades but in freshman year (near the end) i got suspended for 5 days. I never hit back, but the thing is it all happened in the bathroom, so there was no evidence of me hitting back. I'm not saying I'm innocent though, it's my fault for even GOING to the fight. I should've told on the kid but it was near the end of the year and in my mind I was just putting it off until summer came (although that didn't happen :/). Thanks

I think UCF does I’m not sure though, I know FSU does and the rest do not. Don’t worry though with 60,000 students they really aren’t anal about that stuff. You don’t have to post it but if you do just say what you’ve learned from the experience you obviously are bummed about it. But don’t worry you don’t need to worry about it though, I was accepted to all of those schools this year and I got suspended freshman year too.

If you indicate that you were suspended then your application will be scrutinized a little harder. Usually, the schools are not required to say whether or not you were suspended or not because transcripts only reveal grades and attendance. I was suspended my senior year for five days and it did not affect my admission in any way because the school did not report it.

attendance… **** i was absent a lot, lol.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I might ask this question a few more times to get more opinions. I know about the common application and UM requires it. If I’m not mistake, the common application (printable version) asks about if disciplinary action was ever taken. I don’t know about the online common application though, if it is any different or not.

If anything, I’m going to be straight up honest to all of the schools that ask if any disciplinary action was taken in my high school years. It’s always best to simply tell the truth, for whatever is asked.

I’m pretty sure the apps didn’t ask for that. They only asked about legal action and stuff. You’re fine. They didn’t ask about attendance either.

LOOOL. Unless you got into some big trouble by the law, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

im a junior in high school and have two counts of assault on a faculty member. neither where filed by police because no physical harm was done. it only met the classification of the suspension. the CMPD officer notified me that i was not under arrest because of the fact that i did not make contact first. how will this affect my chances of getting into a four year college?
