@Trisherella Thank you so much! Very nice of you! And I did apply to some other places but unfortunately they aren’t predominantly into giving out merit scholarships. However I did apply for some schools where they select 20 full rides based on interviews so that’s an opportunity
I sent my Burnett honors application and it’s been about three days but I’m still not able to sign into the my honors ;/ Did that happen for anyone else
@teenstogether123 S sent his Burnett Honors College application and it took two weeks to access myHonors, which only became available after we called UCF to report the problem logging in. Coincidentally, the day UCF provided access to him was the same day he was accepted into BHC. All the best to you!
^ Thank you!
Does the scholarships come in letters or email form? I got accepted yesterday and is hoping for one
My son is still waiting to hear. His friend heard by checking the “scholarship” tab on the website, this was a couple weeks after he was accepted. (same place on the website where you check your admissions status)
@senior2k17 Letter
What type of scholarships do you guys think I might qualify for with these stats
SAT- 1270 (ERW 640 Math 630)
UW GPA - 4.0
W GPA - 5.13
Volunteering Hours- 100+
Rank - 8/869 (Top 1%)
21 AP Classes taken in total
Straight As all four years of high school
Ec- NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Environmental Club (treasurer)
I’m going to go conservative and say you’ll get $1500 annually for a total of $6000 over four years. Plus Bright Futures if you’re in-state.
Anybody out there with Pegasus Bronze?
Yup, my son just got the Pegasus Bronze.
@Trisherella What were his stats? Did he do the essay and letters of recommendation? Thanks.
His stats were 1320 SAT, 28 ACT, GPA 3.9 UW, 4.3 weighted. He did the essay. I’m not recalling any letters of recommendation…I thought the state schools didn’t want them. We’re in-state.
Thanks!
Anyone else got scholarship notifications? I’ve been waiting for about 3 weeks already
Waiting to hear. My stats are a 1300 SAT, 28 ACT, 3.3 UW GPA and 4.1 W GPA. Really hoping I got at least the Bronze - would help out quite a bit.

I’m getting really anxious because I got accepted to both UCF and Burnett and I am in the top 5% of my class (my senior class is only 57 people), but I haven’t gotten any information regarding scholarships. Is it too late to be receiving scholarships?
Also, I dual enrolled at UCF last semester (I got A’s in both of my classes and I am dual enrolling this semester as well), so my myUCF is catered specifically towards that (it took a while for the Application Status to show up as the status for my Fall 2017 acceptance). For example, in my To-Do, I’ve had the Math Placement test there ever since I began dual enrollment.
Thank you guys so much <3
