I am deciding between two colleges at this point: University of Central Florida and University of South Florida.

These are the different factors weighing in on my decision.

USF: * I was admitted to the honors program - seems to be a good thing, but I am unsure of whether or not it is a strong program.
* Tampa seems like a nice area. (could be wrong; not much experience there)
* Slightly higher ranked in Us News (tier 3 vs. tier 4 - not that it makes much of a difference at that level)
* More financial aid/scholarship money

UCF: * Closer to home, and in an area that I am more familiar with. Orlando is kind of a love it or hate it sort of place, and I happen to love it.
* In my understanding, it is growing faster than USF, and it may be a better university in the long run.
* Student body seems to be more social, and it might be a better "college experience." I think there are fewer commuters at UCF than USF.

I am not sure if the honors program acceptance is worth all that much, so it would be great to see any input on that. UCF has a freshman admission only honors college, so it would be impossible for me to lateral in since I missed their deadline.

Possible fields of study (if it matters): Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, and English.

My tentative career goal is to get admitted to a top 14 law school after graduation.

Any input/advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
