Two questions:
1. For which undergraduate class will the Molecular Engineering program be available?
2. Do any UChicago undergrads go on to study engineering in grad school? Besides Applied Math, UChicago doesn't really have any engineering/applied science majors, so I was wondering if they could obtain the coursework necessary for engineering grad school.

The Eckhardt Center for Molecular Eng will open around February 2015. So the students entering in the Fall of 2015 will probably be able to make the best use of it.

We have Computer Science which obviously isn’t as strong as CMU/Stanford/MIT but is ranked #19 in the world in QS rankings. I hear it has a strong rep as a more theory oriented track. For engineering grad school, I think Chicago Careers in Science and Tech might interest you:

There will be Molecular Engineering classes available starting in the next academic year. There are UChicago students who go on to engineering graduate programs. You major in physics.

Thanks for the info, guys :)
@Divine Comedy, do you mean students in the class of 2016 could take Molecular Eng classes and possibly major in it?
