I am thinking about applying to some prestigious colleges (UChicago is my dream school) but I am worried about whether or not I actually have a shot at attending these colleges. I want to pursue a degree in something related to environmental/sustainability studies. Also, my family does not make very much as we are a family of 4. What are my chances at financial aid opportunities?
I am an asian-american.
Family income is less than 58k.
My school schedule is very rigorous. All of my classes are honors/AP classes with a few exceptions of required classes (ex. Health, Gym, etc.)
GPA: 4.302 weighted
SAT: 1450 (730 R/W, 720 M)
I will be taking the SAT again in Nov for the last time and SAT subject test (Biology and Math ii) in Dec.
