UChicago Option 1 Question

The topics is: Essay Option 1
"At present you need to live the question."—Rainer Maria Rilke, translated from the German by Joan M. Burnham.
Inspired by Sarah Marikar, a third-year in the College.

Is this a question? Looks like a statement. What do I do with this?

CCFanatic, you're the one applying to UChicago and must gripe with these questions alone. We cannot write your essay for you. ;D

I don't think CCFanatic is asking us to write the essay for him. CCFanatic is asking what the prompt is.

I think it would just be to write about the quote. Have the supplements come out already?

Oh UChicago, your essay questions, your insanity...
I'd say just write on the prompt. Be creative, have fun, go for it ^_^

But its not a question. Its just a statement...so how do I answer this. Do I just write my interpretation or make up my own question?

How the quote is to be used and WHAT the question is part of the UChicago essay experience. By telling them what to do with the prompt, we're helping write their essay.

Just start writing CCFanatic. Go wheverer the wind blows you. And be creative. :)

There's literally no correct answer to that question. It's all in interpretation.
