@JamRock411: in both cases you listed, the student primarily had dual-enrollment credits from community college systems that are closely aligned to the flagship, so that it’s quite possible to complete the exact equivalent of 4 semesters/6 quarters at the flagship in a CC setting. This is not the case here, where most credits come from AP classes, some of which don’t typically “count” at schools such as UChic or UCB, and most of which would only waive first-year classes in the major or gen eds - instead of 60 college credits, OP has only 3 advanced classes and the rest in AP.
@Jamrock411 – of course it’s possible for some students to graduate early… the big issue here is whether that’s a good idea, considering OP has graduate school ambitions. Most grad programs welcome candidates with more - not less - education, experience, research. That’s particularly the case in science, one of OP’s interests.
