Hey everyone!
I got in Yale-NUS and really want to study there, but I also consider taking a spot on the waitlist in UChicago, even though I understand that the chance to be admitted is very slim. I am not sure whether I should take this spot and send a note that I am still interested in going to UChicago. Could you give me some advices?
P.S. I am an international student.
As an international student that has been accepted into Yale-NUS already, you should definitely go that route because as you stated, the chances of getting into U of C off of the waitlist is very slim. Just be excited about where you have been accepted and pursue it with all of your passion.
Do not count on the 0.1% chance to get off wait list at UChicago. Take Yale and run.
