Uci acceptance

I thought so too but its REALLY late… :(

It’s been such a pain to apply to UCs because I have 92 credits (70 from CC, 22 from 4-yr in 2006) which means I would automatically get rejected from UCSB, UCSC, UCSD, Cal and UCLA due to the ~90 credit cap. I applied to a few anyway and DID get rejected for that reason so I know they don’t even overlook 2 credits.

wow im sure you’ll get it! you finished all prereqs! and its sucks that they overlook your units  im waiting on bio too, but i dont have ochem or physics done. just gen chem and gen bio. gpa is very low. i dont really count on getting in haha

Any of you guys apply to Davis?

i applied and was waitlisted

thank you… I hope everyone get’s some good news over the next few days! I go to Orange Coast College and normally UCI takes a ton of bio majors from my school (maybe because it’s local?) but almost everyone I know had TAG. Basically to all of us that don’t have it… it’s like straight to the back of the line and MAYBE we will get to you.

I was accepted to Davis but I’m not going to go there. Too far :/

Quick question: Are there any changes in your financial aid status? Mine changed from something like " we will start giving out awards in mid-april" to shortly." I doubt its an indicator of anything but I was just wondering.
I hope they send out decision soon! I’m a psych major with a 3.12 and I’m so scared of being rejected :(

if i’m rejected i’m gonna be flat out ****ed…

What is everyone’s back up plan…if you have any?

Dang we’re all in a similar boat. No one else went for pre reqs?

UC Riverside…greatest University of them all

My Financial Aid says the shortly thing also. If I don’t get into UCI I’m probably going to suck it up and go to UCR lol. I’m also waiting on USC too but man it’s expensive.

Yeah, my fin aid stuff changed too. Probably means nothing.

I have no back up. This sucks.

I’ve been to the UCR campus several times and it’s not too bad. Except some classes are sort of compact. I’d go to UCR over a cal state though imo.

Also the apartments at Riverside a LOT cheaper than UCI which is a good thing.

kokonutz did you apply to csu’s too? i have no backups either :/

well i have csun… but i really dnt want to go there.

Nope. :(. Not sure what imma do if I’m rejected to all 3. I can see the more obvious reasons i got rejected from Davis (missing one of three prereqs) and LA, but the other schools i am hoping to get in. Davis was my last choice.

I actually live in Fullerton and if i go to UCR I’m going to commute… I’ve driven it a few times (rough but I’ll deal). I’m not down to live in the IE lol too hot.

If I were you guys, I would just go anywhere if you can and get a 4.0… Unless you have classes to take at your CC to raise your GPA or finish more pre-reqs for applying next year. And you’ll have awesome registration priority! You can always improve your stats and go to the school of your choice for grad school too  <—my plan haha

Rejected. :(
