<p>@paanicitsbridget I wouldn’t count on knowing in 2 days. Last year they were still making decisions about a week after their self-imposed deadline. :(</p>
<p>You know what I think is totally hilarious? The example that UCI is setting for us. They’ve had since November to review our applications and yet we’re all getting looked at in the last week? It’s like knowing about a paper for the entire semester and waiting till the night before to start it. Only it’s so much worse. :)</p>

<p>My friend was also rejected, so I know they aren’t reviewing by area or school…his GPA was low though I think, lower than mine. Perhaps they are rejecting the very bottom? Not necessary the lowest GPA, but just those that don’t qualify? It seems there is a trend with those that were denied yesterday.</p>

<p>About a waitlist, they will have one, according to a student admissions rep. Asked in a call a few weeks ago (so many calls to admissions). Apparently, though, even if you are waitlisted, it’s unlikely you’d get in, but that was only from the word of the girl who, on several other phone calls, has had such riveting responses as “I have no idea,” and “Call back when the counselor gets here.” In other words, still speculation to me.</p>

<p>I’m guessing no. I’m thinking tomorrow and Friday will be the huge days. HUGE. I have 2 midterms tomorrow, though, so I’m just trying not to focus on the GIANT LIFE CHANGING DECISION I find out about soon. It’s tough to say the least.</p>
<p>I don’t get it. Who does Irvine think it is releasing as late at Berkeley? And why does all this have to happen during the semester? I have a million (yes, literally 1,000,000) assignments due and I can’t sleep.</p>

<p>Question to those as obsessed with checking status as I am - I have an O-chem test at 8AM. Should I or should I not check before taking it? I feel like if I check and see something bad, I would be too distracted, but I’d be so curious during the test if I don’t check! Gah >.<.</p>
