Did anybody get their SIR fee of $100 waived?

I didn’t…I thought I would since my app fees were, but oh well.

Yeah, I thought the same since my application fees were waived. Oh wells! :T

Is anybody planning on going to orientation? I’m deciding to go to the one that’s on June 27th.

^

How are you able to go to orientation already? I thought we would receive an email later on in June?

[UCI Orientation 2011](http://www.dos.uci.edu/orientation/)

you can’t yet.

Yeah, hopefully I can get a spot for the one on June.
I’ve only been to the UCI campus twice. I can’t wait to see the rest of it.

@adpres

That link you posted only shows the optional Transfer success dates right? If I recall correctly, going to one of those has nothing to do with getting your classes for the fall quarter right?

did anyone get an admit packet from uci? I got accepted over a week ago now and have received nothing…

@babyavery ive no idea really o.o… on that page it said this…so i dont think it matters with registration.

This is an optional program and does NOT include academic advising.

@cactusbass i havent got a package yet in the mail yet and i got accepted 2 weeks ago.

@leehana10 i’ve been there many times and its sooooooooo pretty.

@Cactusbass I got mine I think a week ago and I got accepted in the 2nd batch a while ago. It took a bit of time.

I applied to Transfer Bridge. Anyone else?

I got a letter of acceptance and a certificate but no real packet…

There’s an orientation next Friday for transfer students…

“You are invited to attend Discover UCI for Transfers on Friday, May 6, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The program is designed to assist admitted transfer students in making a smooth transition to UC Irvine.”

It’s a RSVP event so maybe you needed an invite? I’m not sure…

Are you guys going to the event? Im thinking of just showing up at some point for a campus tour this coming week…I am not super interested in the student panel and campus tour with a large group of people aspects of the day…

^ Same with me. However, I’m going to consider going this upcoming week if I can.

I just applied for housings at Vista del Campo Norte, Arroyo Vista, and Campus Village. Does anybody know if one housing consists of co-ed gender or is it all the same gender under one roof? However, I know that room mates are same sex.

I was admitted on Saturday, will they mail a physical letter to my address?

@heytherejessie i applied for summer bridge. i hope i get in. it didnt really give too much info on how many people apply and **** though. itd be nice to get in. it said first come first serve so does that mean the sooner you apply the more likely you are to get in then?

@adpres, yes, that’s what I am assuming. I already sent in that survey application and added the school to my FAFSA. I just need to mail my summer financial aid app.

Moose, they said they will mail letters no later than May 1st.
(But yannnnno, they said that about releasing admissions too. -_-)

@heytherejessie when did you submit the survey? i did it like a week ago. oh and yeah i needa get around to that app. although my friend said you can apply online. ive actually seen his fin aid page and theres a summer tab. i think it might come soon so imma hold off on sending it…just because its annoying to mail things.
