I do not believe that Regents has been notified yet…unless i missed something.
Does anyone know when they released decisions last year?
I believe the 1st wave started on a Friday after 3pm, in late March. Hopefully that equates to tomorrow for us. Good luck!
Wait it’s rolling?
It was last year. They released admits over the span of 3 days, then rejects, then waitlist.
@liaaa Nope. Prob tomorrow afternoon/evening.
anyone know what time they started last year was it around 3 PM or 5 PM
@j678jgpo So they don’t release decisions all in one email/portal update like UCSB or I’m hoping UCSD & UCLA?
@DStepler I can’t tell you for sure that’s what they are doing this year. I just remember my friends getting their acceptances while I got nothing. Ended up getting waitlisted 5 days later. UCSD and UCLA release all their decisions on the same day.
UCI is notorious for releasing in waves. It’s painful. Just get your surfboards ready and ride that wave.
I just checked the UCI admissions Twitter account, and it looks like they haven’t posted since 2017-am I reading this right? Or maybe there’s an alternate Twitter feed I’m not finding…
@Napafolie I think you’re on the right Twitter feed… they haven’t notified us of anything yet. Sanity still leaving me XP
@whimsicaljess they released decisions starting the 23rd and went though the weekend I think. UCI loves to release this stuff around 5:00pm on Friday’s so that people can’t call in till Monday. So I would expect them to start rolling out tomo maybe?
Did anyone apply to art history at uci?? I know its unpopular major among humanities but I fell in love with after took ap art history. Can someone can share stats? They only admit 20 people among around 100 applicants. Im so scared?
@Napafolie There is a current Twitter acct for @UCIrvine that they have been posting on, most recently an hour ago regarding March Madness/basketball. I think releasing their college admissions is their true March Madness.
This is insane, so UCI, UCSD AND UCLA are all expected to come out tomorrow at 5pm? Wow, any idea about SLO?
@RV2019 It is so dumb. Talk about information overload and the depression rate about to skyrocket all at same time. Bad, bad timing. My bet is that UCI and UCSD already had planned for that date but with UCLA’s little nightmare, they had to delay til then too.
My son is a senior at UCSD and we went through this 4 years ago and it was still nerve wrecking, but it was definitely not this chaotic ! Atleast they knew exactly when the decisions were coming out. This time it is my D who already ahs anxiety disorder so this doesn’t help at all.
Good luck to everyone!
So UCI gives out decisions at 5? Or 3 with UCSD?
I would say check at 3 or even earlier, my d got into UCSB, it said to check at 3pm, she did it at 2.15 and it was already there!
