I just heard someone got accepted for math (30mins ago) as primary major… waiting for my brother’s email and I am sooooooooo stressed out.

@frankgoat08 you’re in a better standing than I am… literally rejected from almost all UCs i applied too except waitlisted to UCD so far
OMG. Stunned. S was accepted at UCI for Mechanical Engineering!!! Notification posted at 10:22AM. Such a huge relief, it was his last UC hope, after being waitlisted at UCSC, and not getting accepted at UCSB, UCLA, UCSD, and UCD. 3.95 GPA, 35 ACT, 800 SAT Math II, 750 SAT Physics, 4 years sports, OK essays/EC.
Also accepted at University of Toronto, University of Washington, Oregon State, Washington State, and Waitlisted at CalPoly. Still waiting to hear from University of British Columbia and Berkeley (though that’s pretty much a long shot). Reading the CC forums, though, probably made me more stressed, though! I feel for all my fellow parents out there–this whole process is such a manic emotional roller coaster watching these kids endure so much pressure and stress! Back in my day, I went to UC Davis without having to be a genius. Congrats to all you kids on your acceptances and the options/choices you have ahead of you!
