So like, I went to Highlander day only to get rejected the next Monday (i.e., TWO DAYS LATER)!
I’m hoping that I find out about Irvine before this Saturday so the same thing doesn’t happen and I get extra salty…lol
Okay guys so I literally just asked UCI admissions on Instagram when we will hear back and that f’ing said end of next week

Me: Hi, I was just wondering if regular applicants will be hearing back this week or next? 
UCI IG: Hi! You should be hearing back by the end of next week! ??
Me: So not the end of this week anymore?..
UCI IG: We’re going to try and get them released by the end of this week but there is a chance they might not go out until the beginning of next. Rest assured we’re trying our best to push them out for you all!
Me: Well thank you guys!
May I ask, what goes into you guys deciding when to release them?
UCI IG: It’s all dependent on internal evaluation and when we receive information from students.
Me: Oh okay, because I know some people are expecting to hear back from UCLA and Berkeley before UCI and they’re getting frustrated. But thank you for answering my questions!
i gotta give it to UCI IG tho. they are super quick and responsive. I’ve messaged @caltransfers and @uclaadmission and they never even responded
Ok just found out they actually replied to me. They told me general admits will hear beginning of next week lol.
@adreezybones Seriously? I don’t get why they need to wait so long - I’m sure they have made a majority of their decisions by now. They should send out a couple of these…

@fleets UCI has the most transfer apps it has ever had, that’s why it’s taking so long
@90smix it doesn’t say they had the most tranfer apps. It just says it’s #2 for transfers. They seemed to only have around 19,000 this year and 21,000 last year

Update: H2H transfer but still haven’t heard back. Called admissions and they told me to wait till the end of April. Messaged them but no reply yet
I haven’t heard back yet either and I’m a non TAG and non honors applicant.
