UCI fraternities?

I'm a current UCI student, and I'm thinking about rushing next fall. I know that reputations can change, but what the so called "top houses" at UCI? And what the reputations of some of the fraternities at UCI? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been accepted to UCI for fall 2011 and I have more or less the same question. I want to find out what is a good frat to join and also how I go about rushing and actually getting in. So if anyone is in a frat or just knows about em maybe they could help us both out

Nobody can tell you which one is the right one for you, you just gotta find out through rushing.

Asian, latino and black fraternities (part of MGC, google uci mgc) have a more physically challenging pledging process than large IFC’s (google uci ifc). Pledging usually takes a minimum of 1 quarter, but can be a little less or a lot more. Pledging with a ****load of classes is hard and can lead to getting owned academically.

There are social fraternities, one community service fraternity (APhiO) and major-specific fraternities (Triangle Fraternity, PKA, med school frat). They all rush though.
