UCI Housing Clarification

I just finished my final today but I got a small problem now:

its about my housing for UCI,
got into Camino Del Sol (I know I heard its ****ty but where can I go thats cheap??)
if I were to choose a 4 bedroom unit, and it said $911.00/Month

is it $911.00 per person or $911.00 per unit? If its per person then thats way overpriced,
but if it was $911.00 per unit then I would separate my portion for the rent as well as my other roommates which is much easier for me. I looked at a similar campus housing for Puerta Del Sol and they clearly laid out if its $$$$ per person or $$$$ per monthly (its by the same company) so I believe we share rent per unit for that?

and do I have to purchase parking at the housing apartment and at UCI?

Why is it so expensive.... :(

Should I just commute from Claremont to UCI everyday?? sigh what a ******** dilemma this is

Camino Del Sol is NOT ****ty, but actually the most expensive option for housing at UCI. Sadly, living there does cost $911.00/person, not per unit. The reason is because there are luxurious amenities that come from living there such as private study rooms, entertainment areas, and a glorious surrounding. If you’re looking for cheaper housing, Puerta Del Sol comes out to be around $500.00/person but at this time it is hard to get Puerta. Puerta also comes w/ a parking permit and Camino doesn’t. Transfers do get guaranteed housing to either - AV (Arroyo Vista), VDCN (Vista Del Campo Norte), and Camino Del Sol. You should submit your SLR if you haven’t done so already to secure a spot in any of these housing options.

^^ I did submit my SLR, then if I were offered guarantee at Camino Del Sol and I decided to go over at VDCN or Puerta then Would I face penalty for not accepting Camino Del Sol? Should I just apply online at the VDCN or Puerta site? or do they check by the school?
