I want to major in Computer Science. Which school would you choose?

I'm looking for a school that is the best for Computer Science.

Priorities
1. Job Prospect (How both schools are viewed by employers in Computer Science)

Academics

Social Life and Location (I know hands down that Irvine is a clear winner in location. Campus is beautiful and located very close to the beach. I visited CPP and was disappointed by the location)

Graduate School (I haven't decided yet.)

I have given a response in your other thread ;)

My daughter is a sophomore ICS major at UCI…and loves it. Excellent school, great professors, LOTS of opportunities (if she would take advantage of them, but that’s another story). There definitely are great companies recruiting majors from the school…and lots of help in preparing for interviews, resume planning, etc. (Again…if you take advantage of it).

It’s certainly not an EASY major but it does prepare you well for the future. I think UCI wins hands down on all the categories you listed.
