<p>Who has a better undergraduate econ program, UCI or UCSD? I've read several threads saying UCSD has a good econ program, but my counselor is steering me towards UCI. </p>
<p>I am OOS but would like to find a college on the west coast. Are the UC's being negatively impacted by the current economic crisis?</p>

<p>^No, UCSD is just unfun. Both UCLA and USC are more social than UCSD and more difficult to get into. It has a strong Berkeley vibe minus the prestige. UCI isn’t very social either, though.</p>
