I got an scholarship invitation email this morning and inside it says "The scholarship is contingent upon the applicant being admitted to UC Irvine". Does that mean im in?! Anyone who gets this email also?

I just got one. I was wondering the same thing since the deadline is April 12. If we are not admitted, how can we apply for it. RIght?

i didn’t get one what was your guys’ gpa?

Yeah I got that email about an hour ago. What are you guys majoring in!?

Yea i hope that is a good sign :)))))))))
Im a CS major from UCR, so far cumulative gpa 3.47, major gpa 3.5ish

I got one. I am majoring in informatics. I’m guessing it was sent out to everyone who applied to the majors it listed.

I’m a Business Information Management major, looks like its for students who applied under the school of CS and engineering.

@UUUUIIII How does a scholarship invite convey anything? Like I said in another forum, over analyzation at its finest. I don’t mean to be a debbie downer, but I was the same way my senior year of high school when I applied to UCI. Got a ton of emails for scholarships with deadlines and boom! rejected.

I got one also at 11:20 AM. Informatics major with TAG.

I was just guessing. I know right now we should stay clam and hoping for best rather than guessing. My major is CS. I think they just sent out email to people who apply under the college of computer science.

Ya man just chill and hope for the best

Got one too. Does it say Dear Student or Dear Prospective Student?

Dear student in my case, any difference?

Not sure, would like to hear from others as well. A friend and I were comparing and his said prospective student, mine said student.

Hmmm interesting

Mine says student

Mine says student as well. I have TAG so maybe that is the deciding factor between saying student or prospective student?

This scholarship seemed like it was massed emailed.

I dont have tag

Me, too. I don’t have tag
