Wishing you good luck on applications!

Hey transfers,

I transferred to UCI as a Business Econ major this fall. I remember how anxious I was when sending in my application this month.

Be honest, double-check everything, don't put off writing your Personal Statement, and above all, relax!

Is there a certain UC you've set your sights on for a long time? I'd love to hear about it!

I just started my UC application yesterday, lol. Hoping to get into UCLA as my first choice. I have a 3.85 gpa. :)

I’ve had my eyes on the prize since I got to community college 2 years ago. Wish me luck!

Cayton, I’m on the same boat as you xD. Good luck!

Thanks, Captn. Good luck to you too! I hope to see you post in the UCLA admission thread next year stating that you got accepted! What’s your major?

I will be applying as a history major, but if I get rejected from that I’m hoping they take me in for my alternate which is math/econ. Been dreaming of going to UCLA for as long as I can remember. What’s your major?

I really can’t believe its been a year since I applied. It’s been quite a ride. I hope you two get into UCLA.

I myself got rejected from there. I didn’t take it too hard, though. I already got into UCI, so I laughed it off.

Good luck, Captn! I read through some of your posts and it appears you’ll be TAP certified and you already have a good GPA. My major is philosophy.

@kb4692 I’ve heard UCI is an excellent school, but one of my primary reasons for wanting to attend UCLA over UCI or other schools is that it’s close to home. :P

@Cayton That was my reason for choosing UCI: it was closer to home!

I hope UCLA will consider that you live close-by when making their decision.

[How applications are reviewed | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/transfer/reviewed/index.html)

According to this, they do! I doubt it makes or breaks many of the applications, though.

It’s always heart-warming to see a good-luck message, especially when all applicants are under lots of stress - thank you!

^^ You’re welcome.
