UCI to private

Ok so I wasn't too happy with my undergraduate results. Disappointing but expected as I have neglected my GPA for the last 4 years. Everything else was really good though, and I was hoping for one school to see my potential. Only got into UCI, Oxford College (Emory program), and Boston University. I am choosing to go to UCI. Now, I don't think that UC Irvine is a bad school at all, but I know for Venture Capital and Investment Banking, a prestigious school is important.
I made a promise to myself I'd do anything humanly possible to transfer to a top tier school. I will apply for both sophomore and junior transfers

Misc:

~I've proven myself to be capable of great things with little effort, and the decision process this year gave me a taste of reality. Hence, I will work hard from this point on.

College plans:
4.0 GPA

~both very big and meant for grad students
starting a Investment club
Will be actively involved in other school clubs
~focus on business and math with intramural sports (martial art)
(Any advice is welcome)

I know I'm most likely coming off as an ego maniac showing off my IQ and whatnot. The only reason I revealed it is to say that I believe my plans are possible for me with effort and diligence. I hope to show an increase in academic performance from HS to college as well as a passion for math/business
I would like some information/advice on my chances at these schools:
Wharton
HYPS
UChicago
USC
NYU Stern
Carnegie Mellon Tepper
UC Berkeley Haas

Thanks beforehand, and anything is appreciated
:D

P.S I'm a applied math major with a concentration in economics

Bumpppppp :D

I would kill to go to Emory U (oxford) u transfer to the main campus after 2 yrs anyway. how did.get in w/ a 2.8??! I wouldve.applied hah

If u.get a high college gpa im sure u 'll have good chances at those schools.except for wharton. GL!

Probably cuz of my usamo. It’s one of the more prestigious awards for high schoolers. I kinda regret not choosing Emory, but I figured if I wantto transfer, UCI is better than oxford college

And any reason why u said except Wharton and not any of my other choices? (like hyps) I know it’s super competitive but still.

Oh and could someone tell me the chances of getting into a top tier business schools from uci? I know it’s not as easy as getting in from harvard but I can’t seem to find exact numbers.
I’m interested in
HBS
Wharton
Stanford GSB
Stern
Columbia BS

uhhhh… dude, if you’re an USAMO qualifier, I don’t understand why you even went to UCI in the first place. I didn’t make it to USAMO by like 1 or 2 questions and was still able to get into MIT. Anyways, if you really did qualify for USAMO, you’re bound to get in top notch schools so definitely apply!

I feel like i’m looking at myself. My scores and achievements in high school are very similar to yours. I’m also a finance and math major trying to break into IB, hedge fund, or private equity. Good luck to you, Korean brother. I will see you on wall street.

My gpa was crap man. I regret it like heck. My college counselor said if I had at least decent gpa (like top 25% at least) I would have made most of the schools I applied to except Stanford and harvard. But good job on MIT!

Bumpbumpbump

Anybody?! :(

Anyone with experiences with transfering to a top 10 school out there? Also, I’m wondering can u transfer more than once? For example: UCI freshman yr -> Stern Sophomore -> Columbia jr/sr
Just a random example.
