UCI Transfer 2014 decisions

@kchoi1021‌ call them and ask.

Collegedropout is making me want to slit my wrists. Yea we may, probably, be rejected but until it says that I’m going to hold on to that glimpse of hope.

Message through the message center

Guys! Don’t lose your hope since I got the decision on 4/24 and it was acceptance!
You guys will get a good message from UCI soon.

@kchoi1021 I think that it is little bit late for you to chang your major at this time, but you can contact them by phone or message center through ucinet? or something. They will reply you back really fast from my experience.

This counselor is lagging. :((

@drew26 I’m not trying to make myself comfortable because I know I won’t get in. In fact, I really don’t care if I got in or not. I already got accepted to UCLA and UCSC. Besides, I was a very competitive applicant. I am just saying we are not going to get accepted because most decisions that have not come out yet are rejections.

@Justadude91cs I know that it is sad, but don’t get too down about our soon to be posted rejections. You can always apply next year. Think about it, in about 5 months you will be filling out another UC application. That does not seem like that much time. By that time you will have a higher GPA, and a better personal statement.

Ok but if you have a competitive application and you got accepted to UCLA, why wouldn’t you out of all people get in to UCI? You don’t make any sense, no offense. So you’re saying people with 3.8-4.0 gpa’s that TAGGED aren’t getting in? That’s absurd. @CollegeDropout1‌

@CollegeDropout1‌ do you know the exact number of applicants who got accepted? Who are pending? Who are being reviewed? So stop acting like you know everything. I just called UCI THEY DONT EVEN KNOW how many apps are exactly left they are getting through them. The lady said there are still a lot of applications to go through so she was unable to tell me exactly when I will know by.

@Drew26 My point is simple. I said that most people will receive rejections, not everyone.

@CollegeDropout1‌ don’t get me wrong, I completely get what you’re saying but I’m very bummed and I’m already pretty old. I’m apparently not as strong-willed or as intelligent as you seeing as I haven’t been accepted anywhere else yet and I can’t brush that off. And FYI, I’m not being hostile just expressing my view on the situation. Even though I’m most likely to not get in anyways.

@firstgenstudent do me a favor and call and ask who your counselor is? I will do the same. If it turns out to be the same guy then its a good sign

@Firstgenstudnet Are you telling me the truth? I was told differently

CollegeDropout1 was just making an assumption. I doubt it was a confirmation from UC Irvine.

And it’s all on a rolling basis… I wouldn’t say that this is the end of the road for the applicants who are still waiting.

@CollegeDropout1‌ You’re entitled to state your opinion. But please take your negativity somewhere else. We know that you think they will mostly be rejections from here on out but you don’t have to expand on that and make people worried. Thanks :)

@justadude91cs I wasn’t accusing you of being hostile, just the other people. You’re not old, there are some people that go back to school well past there 20’s. You will be fine! Just make sure to raise your GPA.

@Mik194, I only had to expand on my ideas because people kept on attacking me. If they didn’t, they I would have stop at my first post. Blame them, not me! But I will stop talking about this issue.

@CollegeDropout11 I hope your assumption is right for one person who are trying to get in uci business administration. However, to be honest, I still want to hear the good news from all of the rest.

@drew26 they don’t know exactly how many people have been accepted and every time I ask them they say they don’t know probably a confidentiality thing, but the person I spoke to (don’t know the name), said there are quite behind on their decisions. I mean UCLA came out before UCI. ■■■? lol

@CollegeDropout1‌ Are you telling the truth? The school does not just release information like that stating we sent most of our applicants decisions out and the rest will most likely be decisions. And most could be 50 55 60 65 or whatever percent of applications.

@Fischover Did someone on here make you mad?

@firstgenstudent Why would I lie about something like this? I am telling the truth. Maybe someone decided to play a prank on me?
