<p>For those of you who are wondering how they pull off people from the waitlist it’s based on your review score during the application process. I called uci admissions when I was waitlisted and they told me.</p>

<p>Has anyone heard anything from UCI at all?? I just got denied from the UCSD waitlist so this is my last option…</p>
<p>I called The admission office of UCI this morning and they said by June 30 they will send out all decisions…but the wait is killing me. </p>
<p>No, it’s frustrating, but not to bust anyones hopes, including mines I read the thread for the waitlist in 2012 and most of the rejections came after June 15th, hopefully this is not the case @ValieChem</p>
<p>@drew26 that’s exactly what’s freaking me out…I’ve been reading back to the previous years postings on the waitlist and I think we’ve been waiting the longest…so it doesn’t really look to good</p>

<p>I’m sure you got accepted on the 3rd or the 4th, not the 12th, they wouldnt just give you three days till you S.I.R, they give like 5 days. So I’m assuming there is a second batch coming.

<p>I think there was only one batch which was June 4th I think, and I called and a woman said that they’re backed up and a little late on things, so I’m assuming there are two more batches</p>
<p>@drew26 No i actually got accepted on the 12th, i checked every single day like 3 or four times from the day i included myself on the waitlist. Also they only did give me til the 15th to SIR.</p>
<p>I just called the admissions office today and it does appear they extended the deadline to June 30.</p>
<p>Also you do only have 3 day to SIR from the day you are admitted and the normal due date for final transcripts is July 1 for transfers admitted off the waitlist.</p>

<p>I also got in on the 12th (I checked non stop, almost every 2-3 hours every day since June 1st) and i can say its true that they only gave me till the 15th to SIR. It also didn’t help that they emailed me a day after I got admitted telling me to check my email and 2 of those 3 days that I had to SIR were saturday and sunday so I couldn’t even call about questions I had when filling everything out. Also there is no housing, I paid my $20 and filled out the housing application just so they could tell me I was put on the wait list because I missed the June 1st deadline for housing which seemed kind of unfair to me so I’m now in the process of looking for someone who might need a roommate or know of a place but it seems kinda hard since I don’t really know anyone. I’ll be coming in as a Sociology transfer student </p>
