<p>GPA isn't the whole thing in your application. Sure, a 3.5 isn't a 4.0, but with good ECs, essays and test scores, it's gives just as good a shot. And to be honest, the difference between a 3.5 and a 3.8 is so miniscule that most admissions people don't care about that kind of difference.</p>
<p>Hey. I went to troy last year (c/o 2011); ended up going to UCI after getting into all those 4 schools you were thinking about.</p>
<p>I say: You have chances into all of them except berkeley because I would assume you are applying as an engineering major, and your shortcomings in math don't cut the berkeley's engineering selectivity. Maybe 60-70% chance to LA. Significantly lower chances to berkeley.</p>
<p>Do strongly consider UCSD's engineering program if you don't get into cal.</p>
