<p>Tuition is the main deterrent for USC, but I've also heard mixed things about the faculty of UCI's program. Anyone have insight on either of these programs? Faculty, classes, overall experience... Thanks!!</p>
<p>Conchas is cool if you have the same interests as him. He’s very busy though and I think he mostly deals with PHd students?! I’m unsure but he might teach one or two classes in the MAT program.</p>
<p>Honestly, go visit both departments and talk to the students. The best place to talk to MAT UCI students is in the little teacher resource room they have on the 3rd floor.</p>
