lmao you guys are trippin, Cloudflare went down yesterday and caused a lot of errors for a bunch of websites.

Why in the worldddd is UCI taking forever. What bothers me, is that some majors have not even taken ONE person off the waitlist (eg: Biology, ICS…)
Note that members on this site do not represent the whole applicant pool.
It is entirely possible that the initial release of waitlist for some majors can be small, and fell to people who happened to be non-member of this site. At this stage, it’s just a waiting game. I agree though that UCI can be more transparent with the whole process.
I’m not sure if something is causing this but is anyone else getting an error when logging into the portal

I thought only local students got in.
Hi Kubell, are you an international student or local student? I heard that UCI only accepted local students for the waitlist right now, but not sure.
Well its nearing late July but honestly at this point not really sure what to expect. Good luck to anyone still waiting
Seems like Cal closed their waitlist today, I think it’s pretty safe to predict UCI will follow suit.

@Kubell Wait What? UCI Finally remove you off the waitlist or not? I’m confused By the way, I’m a major art and I been in their waitlist for three months already. so I aspect get heard back them soon right?

@Kubell It would be much more beneficial for this group if you gave people a little more detail about your admission. When did you submit your appeal? When did you hear back? Are you a transfer student or a rising freshman? Did they reach out to you via email? These are questions that people are looking to have answered when they come to this site.
In other words, be more thoughtful.
I submitted my appeal on April 21 and got my response 8 weeks after. I am a transfer student, I couldn’t really find the group for transfer so that is why I was on here. They updated my portal at 11 am. I got my email saying it was updated. I got my financial aid packet first then my letter
