<p>Freshman year, i had a 3.5/3.8 soph year i had a 3.8 (4.4) both semesters. junior year im taking 3 aps and 2 honors and my gpa is dropping tremendously. i have a 3.2(4.0). but the semester is not over. and i have a 1950 sat, im going to retake and my goal is 2150. but i was just wondering what my chances were if i were to apply right now. thanks</p>

<p>If your GPA continues to drop tremendously, UCI will definitely reject you even if you somehow manage to pull off a 2400 on the SAT. Right now, UCI is your reach.</p>

<p>If your GPA stays the same, UCI is a reach. You need to do very well in your second semester of Junior year to have a good chance of being accepted by UCI. Try to raise your unweighted GPA to 3.7+ (or your capped UC GPA to 4.0+).
