UCL vs LSE for american unis and IB

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this....I need to choose between an "economics and statistics" course at UCL and "Accounting and Finance" at LSE. I am interested in a career in Investment banking, but would also like the option to pursue other things. I would also like to go to the states to get a masters or MBA. So my question is which do you think would be better (i know that LSE has more prestige but the accounting and finance might not be acadmically respected)...and what would american uni's and IBs think??

thanks guys

you need to choose? lse hands down lol...you can apply to both though...lse admissions cant be guaranteed, lol and i dont think they make offers till next year, do they?

the UCL course is probably tougher though. ANyway best of luck with either

setiaabhik why LSE hands down? UCL is just as good if not better.

UCL 10char

Definitely UCL - everyone at LSE is really career minded and boring.

And banks/accountancy firms do their own training so you don’t need to do a degree in it. People join investment banks with degrees in neuroscience so anything mathematical is fine.
