Oh, the humanity...

:(

and we were doing so well...

argggggggggggggggg

Oh, that made my day so much nicer! My team lost a close one and it hurt, but this was just pathetic.

haha too bad so sad.

yup, too bad too sad. Atleast this beating isn't going to be as bad as the USC one :)

I had a feeling that they would get knocked down sooner or later. I just didn't think it'd be that bad...and against a 2-6 team! Well UCLA fans, it hurts but it happens sometimes (my team lost against #15 Oregon today). I guess the good thing that came from the loss is that it'll teach UCLA not to rely on fourth quarter comebacks. Take it as a humbling learning experience. Just my two cents.

As much as I am glad that UCLA lost, I know I, and a lot of other Trojan fans, were hoping to meet you guys undefeated.

That was absolutely embarassing. I agree.

were hoping to meet you guys undefeated.

yeah that was a mutual hope - oh well, what can ya do? :/

this season reminds me of the roadrunner cartoons where the coyote runs over the side of a canyon and is suspended in space until he looks down and realizes I'm suspended in space!, at which point he promptly falls.

ucla's team believed they could always come back and this led to a string of successively more amazing comebacks. But the unfortunate flip side is that while they always paid lip service to statements like "we need to play hard the whole game", "we need to start faster", etc, they actually only did it once. Deep down, I think that they believed they would win anyway they didn't really put in their best effort the past few games until a few frenetic minutes at the end.

And finally it caught up with them. I think it can go either way now. The miami loss several years ago dug a hole the team never recovered from that season or the next. But thats just one way.

This team is talented, and the other outcome is they become mad and decide to do something about it. Maybe they threw away national title hopes, but they can still go out and show the world a thing or two! If they adopt this spirit, they'll steamroll ASU next week and the trojans better not be too confident about their game, either; its a chance to leave a mark that everyone will remember.

we can hope that Cal beats USC! :p

cal beat USC? ya, after they lost to oregon...not gonna happen.

ucla played a lot of cream puffs this season, i believe thats what infated your record. what goes up must go down. asu will beat ucla. and USC will beat fucla.

what goes up must go down.
and what makes you think USC is immune to this statement?

USC's not immune to that statement. our time will be over. not before dec 7 though.

Nor January 4.

dont you guys have your own message board?

UCLA is still the best! talk all ya want...we will kick sc's ass, can i say ass on this thing, oh well..yeah so dont get too cocky sc'ers cuz yall are goin downnn!!

ok if we used hope, then we can say, ucla does stand a chance against usc cuz last year's bruins lost by less than a touchdown against the trojans, and this year's bruins are a much more improved team. =)

of course, if we use reality, then i hope we score more points than what oregon (the other 8-1 team) could muster up. =

Luckily, the two schools will be competing on the gridiron instead of at a grammar bee.
