UCLA 2006 Freshman Admission Profile (Preliminary)

The preliminary admission statistics for the Fall 2006 entering class has now been posted on the UCLA Admissions website. It will be revised later in Fall 2006 once all admission appeals have been processed and all admission decisions have been finalized.

Weighted GPA: 4.27
Unweighted GPA: 3.82
SAT I total score: 2013
SAT II scores: 734, 682
Honors/AP semesters: 19

Wow, I was under the average in weighted GPA (by about .17) and 180 points below the average SAT I score.

I did meet the averages for SAT II scores and I surpassed the Honors/AP semesters though.

I feel blessed, haha.

Wait, is that blurb on the top anywhere on the UCLA site or straight from you flopsy? I see the stats on the link but can't find those words..you had me searching around the site for a while...haha.

As for me, in with a 4.54 W and 3.85 UW (10-11), 2290, 790/750 IIs, and 25 honors semesters (10-12)..was hoping for regents but no luck; here's to hoping for good news from the alumni association..

That additional disclaimer blurb at the top was straight from me. However, it was posted on the UCLA Admissions page along with the preliminary stats back in 2005 (and the year before that, and the year before that) so I see no reason why it wouldn't be any different this year. I think the admissions office mistakenly left out the disclaimer this year, due to the hastiness of the announcement compared to previous years. Expect to see it soon.
