citan they just want to check that you graduated from high school. you send them along with your college transcripts.

Lbosusc: average GPA of religious studies in 2005 according to this site was 3.43..good job

Sandkicks: so I should send in my HS transcripts as well?....but then why didn't they mention HS explicitly?

Citan, HS transcript should be mailed or not depends on each student and you can find it under your conditions of admission; if they required, then you send, if they don't, you don't have to send it.

For checking whether they receive your transcript or not; log into the myUCLA... If you need additional information, let me know.

I have a stupid question about transcript. I took 2 summer classes in a CC, which I attended less than 30 days, and I dropped them b4 the deadline of getting W. But I'm silly enough to type that CC on my education record. Do I have to order transcript form this school too?

Congradulations to all who got in! Hopefully if you come here you'll love the school as much as I have.

Hope to see some of you at the STOMP conference tomorrow here. I'm the only Allen working it, so if you see my name tag please come introduce yourselves.

Hey... I'm coming to that conference tomorrow!

Hey allena, when did you hear about your financial aid package for UCLA? When I checked mine, it said: "NO FAFSA."

Oh god between the conference and the book fair setup and everything else, campus is gunna be sooooooooo crowded tomorrow/thiswholeweekend.

Sooo glad I'm home as of today.

Have fun @ the conference :)

wait...wat the hell is STOMP?

"The UCLA Student Transfer Outreach and Mentor Program (STOMP), along with Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools (UARS) is convinced that the best way to aid Community College students interested in transferring to UCLA is to empower them by providing key information that will make their Community College experience productive, thus making them more competitive for admissions to the UC system, particularly UCLA. Attendees to the Transfer Conference include low income, first generation, and non-traditional students."

My school had a bunch of us go to the conference last year but didn't specify that last part, about low income, first generation, and non-traditional. We felt a little out of place (lots of white kids from Orange County), and pretty much already knew all of the stuff, but could definitely see why it's needed and how it would be helpful for someone who went to a school that didn't give them much transfer direction. Was interesting.

Oh wait... it seems like the program is not designed for admitted students but for perspective students who wanna transfer to UCLA? I thought it is like a open house for admitted students but it is not...

no, just prospective.

not missing out on anything :)

aww... I signed up for it without knowing that; can we and should we go though?

are there any actual open houses for admitted students or is there just the orientation?

there is a ucla day at my cc on may 3rd

seems like you could get the same info by lookin at the website....

ya! Accepted! 3.75 all igetc, all preres women's studies
