<p>i have two friends who had 3.1s from a ccc, IGETC, and most of their premajor reqs done, and they got in... i even read one of their applications and there wasn't anything crazy about it, personally i thought the essays sucked. i guess the point is, for future transfers, try your best and just apply. you never know what will happen.</p>

<p>OMFG!!! I totally didn't think I'd get accepted. I was choosing between Irvine and Davis too. NOT ANYMORE!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I know I don't deserve it either. 3.3 gpa, no ECs. But whatever I'm happy.</p>
<p>I don't deserve my spot too, cuz I wrote my personal statement a few hours before the deadline. I thought I was doomed by UCLA.</p>

<p>my friends are majoring in bio and one of them isnt even TAP certified. i dont know what happened this time around, but i guess im happy for them! congrats to all you guys who got in!! i think we'll have a great time next year together.</p>

<p>Yeah of course you should go to the conference. At very least you'll get a tour of the campus, besides you get the chance to say hi to me.</p>
<p>Also if I recall it takes until summer before all your aid is in order. Make sure to get Cal Grants and such changed so they come to the university. Sometimes it (in my case it was) can be a messy process.</p>
<p>Hey, allena, what should I do with the calgrant, should i send in the school change form (I have been receiving Cal Grant B for 2 years at my CCC already), please help me on that? What problem about the calgrant did you get last time and how did you resolve it? </p>
<p>Also, is UCLA offering about the same amount of financial aid as other UCs do?</p>

<p>I state that I'm IGETC certified in both application and update form, but I put spanish 2 in summer. So I'm not igetc certified at all, but adcom just don't care about it.</p>
